A medium sized, relatively compact shrub with brilliant purple bottlebrush flowers in in spring and then again in autumn. New foliage growth is a stunning pink, and it can be encouraged to produce new flushes of this with pruning and feeding. A good hardy plant to add to your native garden.

Plant in a sunny spot in well-drained humus soil. Prune after flowering if needed. Water until established.
