A striking Alternanthera displaying hot pink to burgundy foliage with splashes of green throughout. Makes for an excellent feature shrub for garden beds, containers and patio pots. In spring, its brightly coloured leaves are contrasted by small white flowers.

Care

Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position. Brazilian Red Hots™ Alternanthera loves humidity and is heat tolerant. Although is frost tender. Plant in well drained soil. Water well until established, and provide adequate water as required after that. Does well with yearly pruning before spring.
