This plant is an excellent choice for informal hedging and screening. The mauve-red bottlebrush flowers are produced in abundance during late spring to summer, with spot flowering happening also at autumn time! It’s attractive to nectar feeding birds and grows 2 – 4 meters high if left unpruned but can be trimmed to a smaller size.
Care
Plant in a well draining soil. Water until established. Prune after blooming to encourage fresh new growth.
