A small Western Australian native plant with grey-green cylindrical leaves and distinctive green kangaroo paw flowers during late winter and spring. Commonly found in winter wet depressions where it tolerates shade and attracts native birds. Excellent for native gardens, borders, landscapes and revegetation projects.
Care
Prefers a position with full sun or partial shade, with well drained soil but can tolerate poor drainage. Drought tolerant and light frost tolerant once established. Anigozanthos viridus can grow to a height and width of 50cm.
