This beautiful Banksia slowly grows to take the form of an upright tree. It can reach 10-15m tall.  The leathery leaves have attractive dark green foliage with silver reverses. The large lemon yellow flowers are produced from autumn through winter to spring, are nectar rich and attract wildlife, and are followed by the iconic fruit.

Care

This Banksia is suited to many different positions from coastal gardens, to inland cooler areas where it is frost and drought tolerant.

Plant in full sun to part shade in well draining soil.
