Banksia menziesii is found solely in Western Australia, from the Murchison River in the north, to Pinjarra in the south. It is a tree that can grow up to 10 metres. During autumn and Winter a brilliant display of red acorn-shaped flowers are on show. It has dark green, serrated foliage and thick, woolly branches.
Care
A low maintenance plant that once established is frost and drought tolerant. Plant in full sun to part shade in well draining soil.
