This small to medium-sized shrub has a profusion of small pink flowers in spring. The Foliage has a beautiful spicy fragrance. Being a smaller wax flower it has more of a compact growth habit compared to the larger varieties. A very a pretty shrub, perfect as a feature, or as an addition to a native garden, or even an informal hedge. Great for cut flowers!
Care
Plant in well draining soil in a sunny position. Can handle sandy soils. Water in well until establish. Prune lightly after flowering to encourage a more dense habit, and feed in spring with a low phosphorus native fertilizer. Tolerates light frost and is drought resistant once established. Prefers low humidity climates, dry summers and wet winters – perfect for Perth!
