Chamelaucium uncinatum ‘Purple Pride’ is an Australian native shrub with a naturally rounded habit.  The shrub is covered in an abundance of bright purple waxy flowers during late winter and spring.

‘Purple Pride’ is an excellent addition to native gardens, or to use as a screen and is a fantastic cut flower specimen for indoor decorations.

Care

Prefers an open, sunny or partly shaded position and is able to grow in a wide range of free-draining soils. Purple Pride is tolerant of hot, dry conditions and has a low water requirement once established. After flowering prune appropriately to maintain shape. Apply a slow release native fertiliser during spring.
