A small, hardy shrub which provides year round interest with its silver foliage. During the warm summer months there is the added bonus of a profusion of large white, funnel-shaped flowers typical of this plant group.

A terrific plant for edging garden borders particularly as it maintains interest with its silver foliage through the winter months when many perennials are dormant. Makes an attractive low hedge to line driveways or front fences/walls. Suited to Mediterranean, cottage or ‘white’ gardens. Use groups of two to three plants to create drifts in garden beds to tone down the effects of bright/hot colour schemes or to give a lift to pastel schemes.

Care

‘Silvery Moon’ will withstand drought and general neglect making it a popular choice amongst landscapers in recent times. Non-invasive and easy to grow for low-maintenance areas as well as adding contrasting foliage for focal points in the border or for creating a foil for other low growing perennials or groundcovers.
