A native shrub with dense silvery green aromatic foliage, which turns a brilliant red-purple in winter. Vivid orange-yellow flowers are borne at the ends of the branches throughout May – December, attracting honeyeaters, butterflies and bees.

A fast and effective shrub in small or large gardens. Makes an attractive border plant, also great in rockeries or in containers.

Care

Pruning is not required however an occasional clip of shoots following flowering will be beneficial. Normal fertilising applies in early spring and a good helping of mulch will ensure continued growth and healthy plants. They flower best with a bit of shade and regular watering, but they are resilient and will grow in full sun or drier spots.
