With an intricate pink fleck on the petals the flowers of ‘Pinball Wizard’ are reminiscent of old-world carnations, but much lower growing making it a wonderfully colourful and resilient ground-cover, the perfect filler in cottage gardens and alongside paths.
Care
Low watering requirements. Once established, quite dry tolerant requiring only occasional long soaks during extended periods of heat. Low maintenance and easy to grow. Best results are achieved by removing spent flower heads, encouraging repeat flowering. Apply a slow release fertiliser during early spring for optimum performance.
