Also known as rubber plant, rubber tree and decora, this Ficus produces stunning ruby variegated leaves. The eye catching colour makes this a standout house plant.

Plant in a pot and its growth will slow, compared to when planted in the ground where it can reach up to 5 metres tall.

Care

Plant in a good quality, well drained potting soil. Water moderately in the warmer months and then when the soil is dry throughout the cooler months.  Although they love a warm sunny position, they do not like the hot sun. For best results plant in a well lit area with little or indirect sunlight. Will thrive in humidity.
