Cherry Ripe is a small, hardy shrub that thrives in a wide range of climates and soils. It has a dense habit and displays masses of cherry coloured flowers in winter and spring. The flowers attract honey-eaters to the garden. Great as a low informal hedge, in a mixed garden bed, and in containers on decks or patios.

Care

Plant in well drained soil in a sunny to part shaded position. Can handle a variety of soil types from clay, gravelly or sandy loam provided well draining.  Needs minimal watering once established. A light trim over summer is all it needs to keep it fresh and vigorous. Use a slow release native fertiliser as needed.
