An attractive, tropical evergreen that makes a stunning indoor or patio feature plant. Also known as Swiss Cheese, this easy care plant is renowned for its large, glossy green leaves covered in splits and holes. Plant in a large pot or in a garden setting. In a pot the plants growth will be restricted to around 1-2m whereas in a garden setting it may grow much taller.

Care

Plant in a well drained soil which is rich in organic matter in a part-full shade location. Water regularly to establish and during the warmer months where growth is active. Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser yearly to ensure luscious growth. Like most house plants avoid overwatering – wait until the soil dries out somewhat before giving more water once the plant is established.
