This compact variety of rice flower features dark green glossy foliage and masses of brilliant white flowers in spring that completely cover the shrub. It makes a wonderful feature shrub with its rounded habit. Also does well in pots, rockeries and for borders. An excellent plant for attracting butterflies and beneficial insects.

Care

Plant Pimelea in a well drained soil, it will not tolerate wet feet. Pimelea prefers a full sun to partly shaded position and does not cope with heavy frost.
For best results prune off old flowers when finished as this will encourage a more compact growth habit.
