Straight and Narrow is a very slender, semi-compact and dense Lilly Pilly. It is perfect for those tricky tight areas such as along driveways and fences where you want coverage or a screen but are lacking space. The lovely green foliage has bronze tips with new growth and bares the fluffy white flowers typical of most lilly pilly. These are then followed by the fruit which is a pink to red and adds another interest to this lovely plant.

Care

Full sun to shade. Suits moist, well drained soil types. Tolerates cold and dry. Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established. Plant in a well mulched garden (chunky mulch is recommended). If required use slow release fertiliser in spring. Prune twice yearly for a very tidy hedge or every 2-3 years as a wider screen plant.

Natural Psyllid resistance makes it unlikely to have this problem.
