Commonly known as Lilly Pilly, Syzygium are one of the most popular Australian Native plants. Lilly Pillies are evergreen rainforest plants with glossy, deep green leaves. Many varieties have flushes of colourful new growth, ranging from bright pinks, to red and browns. This particular variety, Bush Cherry, is grown for its compact, pyramidal growth habit and copper toned new growth. During summer, Bush Cherry produces fluffy white flowers, which are followed by small, edible berries. Bush Cherry is ideal for hedging, screening and topiary and can be grown in containers.
