Acacia lasiocarpa prostrate is a low growing flat ground cover with fine, lime-green foliage and masses of golden, fluffy flowers that appear during winter and spring. A decorative plant for general garden use, and is suitable to coastal gardens or hot, dry spots in the landscape.
Care
Best in a full sun or partly shaded position in well drained soil. Tolerant of coastal conditions, periods of drought and moderate frost. Use a slow release fertilizer and mulch around the base to conserve moisture. Acacia lasiocarpa prostrate is a flat ground cover and grows to a height of 30 centimetres and a width of 2 metres.
