This medium-sized shrub has a profusion of rose pink flowers in spring, which are great cut flowers. The Foliage has a beautiful spicy fragrance. It has a light and open appearance and is wildlife attracting. A very a pretty shrub, perfect as a feature, or as an addition to a native garden, or even a large informal hedge.


Plant in well draining soil in a sunny position. Can handle sandy soils. Water in well until establish. Prune lightly after flowering to encourage a more dense habit, and feed in spring with a low phosphorus native fertilizer. Tolerates light frost and is drought resistant once established. Prefers low humidity climates, dry summers and wet winters – perfect for Perth!
