Loropetalum ‘Plum Gorgeous’ is a stand out selection famed for its deep plum coloured foliage. In spring and again in autumn it is smothered in bright magenta tasseled flowers which add to its appeal. With a compact form to approximately 1.5m high and 2m wide and a delightfully graceful habit, it naturally maintains a dense shape as it grows. This habit makes it ideal for low hedging as well as a feature plant in a container. Loropetalum ‘Plum Gorgeous’ is a no fuss solution to many uses in the home garden, and is minimal maintenance once established.

Care

‘Plum Gorgeous’ has low water requirements and is dry tolerant once established. For best results, plant in full sun through to part shade in soils that are well draining, and feed with a general purpose slow release fertiliser at the beginning of spring.
